Micro Moons Black Living Room

In this transitional living room, the entire expanse above the fireplace becomes a feature wall. Instead of wallpaper or custom paint, the designer chose Micro Moons Black, a waterjet mosaic with a combination of ten jewel-toned stones, including Verde Alpi Serpentine, Botanic Green Quartzite, Azul Macaubas Quartzite, and Bardiglio Nuvolato Marble. The geometric pattern feels contemporary and classic, as it showcases circles—a shape at home in traditional and contemporary designs. The furniture and architectural details combine different interior décor styles, from a classic stone mantle with scroll details to a midcentury modern chaise with angled wooden legs.
