Calacatta Borghini and Portobello Marble Foyer

Stately, classical, luminous—this marble foyer provides a memorable entrance for homeowners and guests alike. Located at the 2025 Flower Magazine Showhouse, this room offers high ceilings, beautiful natural light, and an eclectic mix of traditional and transitional elements, including antique pedestals, blue and white Chinese pottery, and a bench with colorful upholstery. But the focus is the decorative floor displaying Calacatta Borghini and Portobello Marble. A Tailored To custom Trellis Mosaic, the floor calls to mind the intricate patterns of classical architecture. Created by Atlanta-based Margaret Kirkland Interiors. Photography by Leslee Mitchell.
