Roy Marcus
Showroom Manager
Roy Marcus is the showroom manager for Artistic Tile's New York flagship store.  Although he majored in American Studies at Hobart College in Geneva, NY, Roy's first job was designing slippers at the last surviving shoe factory in Manhattan. After holding sales and marketing posts and working for Fortune 500 companies, Roy became part of the home decor world where for two decades he has used his keen eye to create great designs for clients. Janet McHugh
Architectural Sales
Architectural Sales, Janet McHugh, has been in the industry for more than 20 years. Before joining Artistic Tile, Janet spent 10 years working for Country Floors where she developed her expertise in the design industry. Architectural Sales

Design Associate

Arielle Small
Architectural Sales
Arielle Small works out of Artistic Tile’s flagship New York City showroom in our in Architectural Sales department. She graduated New York University with a degree in Psychology and Art History, and explored art and architecture while studying abroad in Paris and London. Arielle’s past experiences have supplied her with knowledge in both the stone and tile industry, as well as residential real estate sales and property management. She has a passion for business, enthusiasm for technological advancements, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of the materials that Artistic Tile works with. With confidence, tirelessness, and a sense of humor, Arielle will guide you through your material selection process, always ensuring that your needs—both technical and aesthetic—are met. Mark McElligot
Design Associate
Mark brings a strong understanding of great customer service to his position as Design Associate at Artistic Tile.  His long history in the hospitality industry gave him the opportunity to work with some of New York’s top chefs and restauranteurs in a variety of positions, including Maitre’ d.
In addition to his work in demanding three star restaurants Mark freelanced as a stylist for some of New York’s top galleries and retail establishments. He has done visual work for Bergdorf Goodman, Alfred Dunhill, Bazaar Sabado, Portico Home and Cole Rigg’s photography.

Mark holds a BS in Communications from Boston University. 

Silvana Romano
Design Associate

Having an opportunity to straddle the beautiful worlds of Italy and NYC has had a strong influence on Silvana’s extensive work in the fashion industry.   As a buyer, store owner and designer of fine Italian fabric belts, Silvana developed her passion for style and beauty. Today, Silvana leverages her knowledge of aesthetic with a deep understanding both business and industry trends, to create unique, highly sophisticated spaces. When she’s not busy creating inspiration boards, Silvana can be found enjoying life with her three children. 

Irma Collin
Design Associate
 Irma attended the Technical University in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she graduated with BA in Civil Engineering, going on to earn a Master’s in Art History from Moscow State University.  After graduation she joined 21st Century Development in Moscow as a managing engineer and designer. Following her immigration to the United States, Irma became involved in the US design industry, in which she has been working for the past 15 years. Her education, years of practice and deep appreciation for art from around the world has established Irma as an expert in the world of tile
Michal Abehsera
Design Associate
 Michal Abehsera works out of Artistic Tile’s flagship New York City showroom, and is an integral part of our Architectural Sales department. She holds a degree in Psychology and Biology from Stern University, and began her career as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers' healthcare division. Following success in consulting, Michal moved on to work as a media buyer and planner with MA Media, a real estate advertising firm. Michal was the architect of many highly successful brand-building campaigns including today's long running "1-877-Kars For Kids." 

In 2008, Michal made the decision to fulfill a dream of hers and attend Parson's The New School, where she received her degree in interior design. She went on to work at Design Within Reach (DWR)--furthering her love affair and appreciation with classic modern design. In 2013, Michal joined Artistic Tile and quickly became a rising star--working with all of NYC's most important developers and architectural firms. Michal's knowledge, work ethic and passion for design, coupled with her experience both in business and real estate make her a truly unique sales representative and brand ambassador at Artistic Tile. 

Michal lives with her husband and her three children in Westchester, NY. Michal is an Olympic triathlon finisher and can be found many a morning at Soul Cycle. She also loves to travel and cook.  Michal writes a blog about design and is working on publishing her own cookbook. Come on in to the showroom and meet Michal, you will be happy you did. Alejandro Mejia
Architectural Sales Representative
 Alejandro began his career in the tile and stone industry in 2003. He acquired a broad knowledge of stone and mosaics through his passion for the industry and his five years at Artsaics Studios. Alejandro subsequently accepted a position with Nemo Tile as a sales associate, earning him the product knowledge and customer service skills necessary to confidently guide clients in their design. In 2010, he accepted a new position with Artsaics, as an architectural and interior design representative. In this role, he helped open the market and reach new customers. Alejandro joined Artistic Tile in 2013, with an excitement that is contagious. He’s not afraid of hard work and always gives his best to help the team succeed. 
Charlaine Hall
Design Associate
Charlaine is a graduate of Howard Univeristy with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. She began her career with Gucci on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California and progressed to Gucci’s famed Fifth Avenue store. In 1998 She was recruited by Prada USA to join its inaugural US staff and helped the brand launch its Manhattan flagship store. Before her promotion to department manager, Charlaine worked in Prada’s men’s department for 5 years, helping it to become the highest-grossing department for the store. Charlaine now has two children, Bryce and Jayde, and has been married since 2001. 
After juggling her time as a mother and small business owner, Charlaine rejoined the workforce in 2005 as shopper/stylist for Bergdorf Goodman, where she was a top seller for 8 years. Today, Charlaine serves as a Design Associate in our 21st St. showroom.  Her warm disposition and fashion experience makes Charlaine’s sharp eye and sunny attitude a welcome addition to Artistic Tile’s flagship team.
