Artistic Tile and Giving Back:
A Company Policy that Can Really Make a Difference
"One of our core values is charity," says Artistic Tile, Inc. founder and CEO Nancy Epstein, who champions causes and creates original cause-related marketing programs through her firm. "Our business exists to generate earnings sufficient to provide our people with quality of life, and to achieve profits sufficient to give back to our community and to causes we believe can make a difference in the world," she explains. Notably, her Jerusalem Stone Project raised over $100,000 for the Israel Emergency Campaign, and her Venice in New York fundraiser at the firm's 5th Avenue flagship store, co-hosted by architect David Rockwell, netted over $20,000 for DIFFA including a related percent-of-purchase donation. "Tile can be a major purchase decision, so we also hope, of course, that our clients, both designers and homeowners, feel good about making their purchases with Artistic Tile, knowing that we are a company that gives back," notes Nancy Epstein, who adds that, "We also hope we can inspire others to do what they can to make a difference."
